this gorgeous specimen’s growth was quite stagnant for the last several months. on a whim this winter, i trimmed back many of the branches whose tips had browned or dried out.
to my surprise, with these recent searing temperatures, she’s having a massive growth spurt- complete with a handful of flowers. drought-tolerant mystical medusa, she is. i’ve read that the tiny leaves can be brewed as a tea to treat asthma and laryngitis. i can’t wait until this creature grows to fill up the entire corner of this garden bed.
